Released: 24 August 2026
Product: Sense Automate / Sense HR
Who it affects: Administrators managing Library workflows
Overview
We’re continuing to add configuration options to existing workflows in Workflow Hub, making them easier to tailor without changing the underlying workflow logic.
This release adds new configuration options to three existing notification workflows:
Notification - Deleted Event
Profile & Payroll Updates Notification
Event Added/Updated Notification
Administrators can now control areas such as who receives notifications and which events or profile changes should trigger them.
What’s new
Notification - Deleted Event
The Notification - Deleted Event workflow can now be configured to control who is notified when an event is deleted.
Notification recipients can include:
Administrators
Managers
Employees
Approvers
People identified through custom User Picker fields, such as Secondary Manager or Supervisor
The person who deletes the event is not notified.
Notification - Deleted Event configuration
What this means for you:
Event deletion notifications can be directed to the people who need to know, rather than relying on a fixed notification route.
Profile & Payroll Updates Notification
The Profile & Payroll Updates Notification workflow now lets administrators configure both what should be monitored and who should be notified.
You can choose which profile screens should trigger the workflow when information is changed and define the recipients who should receive the resulting notification.
The workflow can then notify the configured recipients and create a task for any required review or follow-up.
Profile & Payroll Updates Notification configuration
What this means for you:
You can focus change notifications on the employee and payroll information your organisation needs to monitor and send those notifications to the appropriate people.
Event Added/Updated Notification
The Event Added/Updated Notification workflow now provides more control over both recipients and the events that trigger notifications.
Administrators can:
Choose who should receive notifications.
Specify which event types should trigger the workflow.
Leave the event name configuration blank to include all events.
The person who adds or updates the event is not notified.
Event Added/Updated Notification configuration
What this means for you:
You can choose whether notifications apply broadly across events or only to the event types where additional communication is useful.
More configurable workflows to come
These updates are part of our ongoing work to make Library workflows increasingly deploy-and-configure, giving administrators greater control over workflow behaviour without needing separate workflow variations.
We’ll continue adding configuration options to existing Hub workflows over time.
Summary
Three existing notification workflows now offer greater configuration:
Notification - Deleted Event provides more control over notification recipients, Profile & Payroll Updates Notification lets you choose recipients and monitored screens, and Event Added/Updated Notification lets you configure recipients and the events that trigger notifications.
These changes continue the move towards more flexible Library workflows that can be configured to better match how your organisation operates.
