Sense HR v6.0 introduces improvements to To Do management, giving managers and administrators more flexibility to keep work moving.

Users with the right permissions can now view and complete supported To Dos on behalf of team members or other accessible profiles. The My To Dos dashboard widget has also been improved to provide clearer feedback about outstanding and overdue work.

Managers and administrators with the appropriate permissions can now complete supported To Dos on behalf of team members and other accessible profiles.

This can be done from a team member’s profile overview or from the To Do screen.

Some To Dos still need to be completed by the assigned person. For example, legal or business-sensitive actions such as document signing continue to follow their existing rules.

Managers and administrators can help prevent business processes from becoming blocked when someone is unavailable, on leave, or has left the organisation.

To Do behaviour has been aligned more closely with Access Role Management.

Permissions for viewing, creating, assigning, updating and deleting To Dos now behave more consistently across Own profile and People profiles.

To Do access is easier to understand and manage, with permissions applying more consistently across different profile areas.

The My To Dos widget now provides clearer, more contextual feedback.

Instead of showing generic empty-state messages, the widget reflects whether you have outstanding or overdue To Dos and helps guide you to the relevant tab when needed.

Users can understand what needs attention more quickly, without opening additional screens to check.
