Released: 15th July 2026 · Roll Call app now supports Anviz device ID mapping for more accurate presence locations.

Released: 15th July 2026

Product: Sense Presence / Sense Mobile

Who it affects: Administrators, Operations teams, Facilities teams and Roll Call users
Available on: Elite and Enterprise plans

Overview

App - Roll Call now supports location mapping for individual Anviz device IDs.

This improvement helps organisations using multiple Anviz clocks across different sites or buildings show more accurate presence locations in Roll Call.

What’s new

Anviz device ID location mapping

Administrators can now map individual Anviz clock device IDs to specific locations.

This is useful where multiple Anviz clocks are connected through the same clock transaction service but are installed in different places. By mapping each device ID to a location, Roll Call can show where someone clocked in more accurately.

For example:

1 = Epworth, 2 = Doncaster, 3 = London

Multiple device IDs can also be mapped to the same location, if needed.

What this means for you:

Roll Call can show more accurate presence locations for Anviz clock users, especially where clocks are used across multiple sites or buildings.

Improved Roll Call location selection

When Anviz device ID mappings are configured, Roll Call can group people by the mapped locations.

Users can then view presence status by location, or choose View All to see everyone’s current clocked-in or clocked-out status.

What this means for you:

Roll Call is easier to use in multi-site environments, with location groups that better reflect where employees are actually working.

Optional configuration

This configuration is optional.

If Anviz device ID mappings are not provided, Roll Call continues to use the existing location behaviour from the Presence Console.

What this means for you:

Organisations that do not need device-level mapping can continue using Roll Call as before.

Summary

This update improves Roll Call accuracy for organisations using Anviz clocks across multiple locations.

By mapping individual Anviz device IDs to locations, Roll Call can show more reliable presence information for each site or building, while keeping the existing behaviour available for organisations that do not need this setup.
