What’s new

Mobile SOS trigger

The new App - Trigger SOS workflow allows users to trigger an SOS alert from the mobile app with a single tap.

This workflow works with SOS Responders, which defines who receives emergency notifications.

What this means for you:

Users can raise an SOS alert quickly from their mobile device, while administrators can control who is notified.

Lone Worker mobile app

The new App - Lone Worker workflow supports users who work alone.

Users can start lone worker sessions, share their status in real time and trigger an SOS if needed.

What this means for you:

Lone workers have a mobile way to share their status and request help, supporting safer lone working processes.

Lone Worker Sessions view

The App - Lone Worker Sessions workflow provides a live view of lone worker activity and SOS events.

This includes active lone worker sessions, sessions completed in the last 24 hours and any active SOS incidents.

What this means for you:

Teams can monitor lone worker activity and SOS events more easily from the mobile experience.

Presence Gateway data on mobile

The new App - Presence workflow brings Presence Gateway data into the mobile app.

This gives mobile users access to the same type of Presence information available in the web console.

What this means for you:

Presence information is easier to access on the go, without needing to open the web console.

SOS Responders workflow

The SOS Responders workflow is used to configure who is notified when a lone worker session starts or when an SOS is triggered.

This supporting workflow should be installed alongside Trigger SOS, Lone Worker and SenseTag SOS workflows.

What this means for you:

Emergency notifications can be routed to the right people using one shared responder configuration.

SenseTag SOS

The new SenseTag - SOS workflow enables SOS activation from a SenseTag using a configured button press sequence, such as three clicks.

Notifications are managed through the SOS Responders workflow.

What this means for you:

Users with SenseTags can trigger an SOS without needing to use the mobile app directly.

Summary

This release adds new Presence workflows for mobile SOS alerts, lone worker sessions, Presence Gateway data and SenseTag SOS activation.

Together, these workflows help organisations extend Presence and lone worker functionality across mobile and device-based experiences, while using SOS Responders to manage who receives notifications.
