Who it’s for: All Badge users (aimed at Lone workers in any industry who may not have colleagues nearby to assist if they are injured or in danger).

Before You Begin:

☑️ Ensure the wearer is signed into their Sense Badge.

☑️ Verify that all supervisors who receive alerts are registered and that workflows have been tested.


Overview

The Lone Worker app is a safety tool designed to protect employees working alone. It allows the wearer to control their own check-ins while supervisors monitor their status. If a check-in is missed, Sense Presence automatically alerts the supervisor so they can verify the worker’s safety.


Enable Lone Worker Mode

1. Tap the Lone Worker app tile on the Sense Badge.

2. Tap Enable. The badge will connect to the network and flash blue once connected.

3. Tap Edit Freq to set the check-in interval.

4. Use the +/- buttons to select a frequency in 15-minute increments (up to a maximum of 120 minutes), then tap Save.

  • The setting will automatically save to the cloud.

5. Tap Check In. The Badge saves your status to the cloud.

6. Tap the Back arrow (top left of the screen).

✅ The wearer is now checked in as a Lone Worker.


Respond to Check-In Reminders

1. When it’s time to check in, the Sense Badge will vibrate and flash green.

2. Tap either the notification or open the Lone Worker app.

  • If you tap the notification: select Check In.

  • If you open the app: you can change your check-in interval using Edit Freq, then tap Check In.

✅ The system records the check-in and resets the timer for the next reminder.


Exit Lone Worker Mode

1. Tap the Lone Worker app tile.

2. Tap Disable. The badge will reconnect to the network and flash blue.

3. The screen will return to the Lone Worker home screen.

4. Tap the Back arrow (top left of the screen).

✅ Lone Worker mode is now disabled.
