Introduction
This workflow helps library administrators quickly understand who is unavailable for work each day.
It identifies staff who are away due to approved time-off or sickness, as well as staff who are scheduled to work but have not clocked in. The results are sent in a single daily email to all admins, making it easier to plan cover, adjust staffing, and respond early to unexpected absences.
How it works
Trigger time
Every day at 9:30 AM, the workflow runs automatically.Get today’s staff list
The system retrieves all staff members who are expected to work today.
Identify staff with recorded absences
The workflow checks for any staff who:Have a time-off event scheduled for today
Have a sickness/absence record for today.
Identify potential no-shows
From the remaining staff (those without a time-off or sickness record), the workflow checks who:Have not clocked in by 9:30 AM.
Send to administrators
The summary email is sent to all admins
