Released: 18th August 2026 · Manage historical working hours changes more easily, filter Organisation Explorer and identify reporting relationship issues.

Released: 18th August 2026

Product: Sense HR

Who it affects: Administrators, Managers and Organisation Explorer users

Available on: All plans

Overview

Sense HR v6.3.4.0 introduces improvements to working hours schedule management and Organisation Explorer.

Administrators can now create retrospective working hours changes directly and review historical schedules from an employee’s working hours timeline.

Organisation Explorer also gains new filtering tools and improved handling of circular reporting relationships, making it easier to focus on relevant organisational data and identify records that need attention.

What’s new

Manage historical working hours changes

Administrators can now create a Working hours schedule with an effective date in the past.

Previously, creating a retrospective change required the schedule to be created first and its effective date changed afterwards.

The employee’s Working hours schedule timeline has also been expanded to include historical schedules. Current and future schedules are shown by default, with the option to include completed historical changes when needed.

Working hours schedule timeline

What this means for you:

Retrospective working hours corrections are easier to make, and administrators have a clearer record of how an employee’s working hours have changed over time.

Filter Organisation Explorer

Organisation Explorer can now be filtered using organisational attributes.

Available filters include:

  • Department

  • Location

  • Job title

  • Subcompany

Users can include or exclude people by attributes and combine filters to narrow the organisation view.

When filters are applied, the Filters control displays a count so users can see that the current Organisation Explorer view has been filtered.

Organisation Explorer filters

What this means for you:

You can quickly focus Organisation Explorer on the people or organisational groups you need instead of navigating the full organisation.

Identify circular reporting relationships

Organisation Explorer can now detect circular reporting relationships that would otherwise prevent parts of the organisation structure from displaying correctly.

For example, this can happen if two employees are incorrectly recorded as reporting to each other.

When a circular relationship is detected, Organisation Explorer excludes one affected relationship so the rest of the organisation can continue to load. A warning identifies that an issue has been found, and Review issues shows the relationships that need attention.

Reporting relationship warning

What this means for you:

A reporting-data issue no longer needs to prevent the wider organisation from being explored, and affected employee records are easier to identify and correct.

Fixes and reliability improvements

Zero contracted hours

We’ve fixed an issue affecting employees moving to No working pattern, including employees on zero-hour contracts.

Contracted hours can now be set to 0 hours as expected.
