Overview
Clock In/Out for the mobile app now includes a QR code configuration option.
Administrators can choose the clock-in method that best suits their organisation: manual clock in using the mobile app button, or QR code clock in using a rotating code displayed on the clock screen.

Configure the mobile clock-in method
Administrators can now configure how employees clock in and out using the mobile app.
Available options include:
Manual Clock In — employees clock in and out by pressing the In/Out button in the mobile app.
QR Code Clock In — employees scan a QR code using the mobile app to create a time record.

Organisations can choose the mobile clock-in method that best matches their workplace setup and timekeeping policy.
Rotating QR code support
When QR code clock-in is enabled, the clock screen displays a rotating QR code for employees to scan.
The QR code refreshes every 30 seconds, helping prevent old screenshots or photos from being reused.
What this means for you:
QR code clock-in provides a quick, contactless way to record time and helps reduce the risk of buddy punching or fraudulent clock-ins.
