A new Forms – Buy/Sell Holidays workflow is now available as part of the Forms Early Adopter Programme.

This workflow lets organisations run a Buy/Sell Holidays campaign using Sense Automate, Sense Forms and Sense HR. Employees can choose whether they want to buy additional annual leave, sell part of their entitlement, or make no change for the selected holiday year.

The new workflow uses the Forms framework to provide a more flexible employee experience than traditional static forms.

The form can adapt based on workflow logic, employee context and the employee’s responses.

Buy/Sell Holidays campaigns can be managed through a more interactive form experience, with the workflow handling invitations, submissions, entitlement updates and confirmation emails.

The Buy/Sell Holidays form can display different options depending on the employee’s entitlement setup and workflow configuration.

For example, the form can adapt for employees whose entitlement is measured in days or hours, and apply the correct buy/sell limits based on the configured rules.

Employees receive a form experience that is better matched to their own entitlement type and the organisation’s Buy/Sell Holidays rules.

This workflow is currently available through the Forms Early Adopter Programme.

A valid Sense Forms Licence is required, and the workflow should only be deployed to customers following discussion with their Account Manager.

Forms-based workflows are beginning to support more flexible business processes, while remaining controlled through the Early Adopter rollout.
