Product: Sense Automate for Sense HR

Who it affects: Administrators, HR teams and Managers

Available on: Elite and Enterprise plans

Overview

The new Performance Time workflow is now available in Workflow Hub.

This workflow helps organisations manage approved early finishes more consistently. It can automatically identify when an employee clocks out before their scheduled shift end time within configured rules, route the time for manager approval, and add a Performance Time event to the employee’s planner once approved.

What’s new

Performance Time workflow added to Workflow Hub

Administrators can now install the Performance Time workflow from Workflow Hub.

The workflow is designed for organisations that recognise approved early finishes when employees have completed their required work ahead of schedule.

What this means for you:

Performance Time can be tracked through a clear approval process instead of being managed manually.

Configurable rules for eligibility and approval

The workflow includes configurable rules, so administrators can define who the workflow applies to and what counts as Performance Time.

This includes options such as qualifying time windows, minimum and maximum thresholds, due dates and approval settings.

What this means for you:

Performance Time can be applied consistently, while still matching your organisation’s approach to approved early finishes.

Summary

The Performance Time workflow gives organisations a structured way to identify, approve and record eligible early finishes.

It works similarly to Overtime Adjustments, but looks for qualifying time under the scheduled shift length rather than additional time worked.
