Sense ATS: Duplicate application alerts, reusable interview questions and access improvements

Released: 18th May 2026· Improvements to duplicate application visibility, interview setup, access management and organisation onboarding.

Released: 18th May 2026

Product: Sense ATS

Who it affects: Administrators and Hiring Managers

Overview

This Sense ATS release includes improvements to vacancy management, interview setup, access control and organisation onboarding.

Recruiters and hiring teams can now identify duplicate applications more easily, copy interview question sets between vacancies, and benefit from several behind-the-scenes improvements to permissions, vacancy views, interview results and sign-in handling.

What’s new

Duplicate application alerts across vacancies

Sense ATS now helps identify candidates who may have applied for more than one vacancy.

When application details match across vacancies, the candidate is marked so recruiters and hiring teams can spot potential duplicate applications more easily.

What this means for you:

Recruiters get better visibility of repeat applicants, helping reduce duplicate review work and making it easier to understand a candidate’s wider application history.

Copy interview question sets between vacancies

You can now copy interview question sets from one vacancy to another.

This is useful when creating a new vacancy that follows a similar recruitment process to an existing or previous vacancy. Instead of rebuilding interview questions from scratch, you can reuse a question set and adapt it where needed.

What this means for you:

Setting up interviews is quicker and more consistent, especially when hiring for similar roles or repeating a previous vacancy process.

Access management improvements

This release includes a significant update to how ATS access and permissions are managed.

We’ve improved how ATS roles and permissions are managed behind the scenes, making access control more reliable and easier to maintain at scale.

What this means for you:

Access management is more robust and better suited to organisations that need clearer control over who can see and manage different areas of ATS.

Organisation onboarding improvements

Organisation onboarding has been improved with additional Portal and Backoffice client support.

These updates make it easier to support new organisation setup and client configuration behind the scenes.

What this means for you:

New ATS organisations can be set up and supported more smoothly, with better internal tooling for onboarding and configuration.

Fixes and reliability improvements

This release also includes several fixes and performance improvements, including:

  • Improved permission enforcement for vacancy views.

  • Interview results optimisation.

  • Rich text rendering fixes.

  • UI layout corrections.

  • Sign-in error handling improvements.

  • Additional general bug fixes and stability improvements.

Summary

This ATS release improves day-to-day recruitment setup and system reliability.

The most visible changes are duplicate application alerts across vacancies and the ability to copy interview question sets between vacancies. Behind the scenes, access management, onboarding support, permissions, interview results, rich text handling and sign-in behaviour have also been improved.
