People: Send a verification code for Sense Mobile login (Admin)

Learn how administrators can send or resend a verification code for employees logging into the Sense Mobile app.

Before you begin, make sure you’ve:

☑️ Logged into the Sense Workplace web app

☑️ Been assigned administrator permissions

🖊️ Note: Verification codes can only be sent to users who have completed their initial web app registration.

Quick steps to send a verification code (individual user)

  1. Go to Dashboard > People.

  2. Select the user who requires a verification code.

  3. Click the More actions (…) menu in the upper right of the user’s profile.

  4. Select Send verification code

✅ The user will receive an email containing a new verification code for the Sense Mobile app.

💡 Tip: Use the same steps to resend a verification code if a user has forgotten their PIN or logged out of the Sense Mobile app.


Quick steps to send a verification code (multiple users)

  1. Go to Dashboard > People.

  2. Select All in the upper left of the People list, or select multiple specific users.

  3. Click Send verification code in the action bar

✅ Selected users will receive an email containing a new verification code for the Sense Mobile app.


FAQ

Q: Why does a user need a new verification code after logging out of the Sense Mobile app?

A: Logging out of the Sense Mobile app ends the current session and requires a new verification code to sign back in.

When setting up the app, users create a PIN or enable biometric login. This PIN or biometric check is requested each time the app is opened, so there is no need to log out for normal daily use.

To temporarily stop using the app, simply close it as you would any other app on your device. Logging out should only be used if the user no longer needs access or will not be using the app for an extended period.


Q: What do I do if a user has logged out of the Sense Mobile app or forgotten their PIN?

A: An administrator will need to send a new verification code.

Go to Dashboard > People, open the user’s profile, click the More actions (…) menu, and select Send verification code. The user will receive an email with a new code to log back into the Sense Mobile app.
