Introduction
By default, all vacancies added to the ATS are automatically approved. This alternative workflow allows you to specify one or more individuals who are responsible for approving vacancies.
For example, if multiple people have access to the ATS and can add vacancies, you can decide who has the authority to approve them. Approvals can be completed via the mobile app, where users can review all the relevant details before choosing to approve or decline a vacancy.
How It Works
An ATS user adds a vacancy.
The specified approvers are notified via email and push notification.
They can then access the 'Vacancy Requests' tile on the mobile app
Whether approved or declined, the requester will receive an email notification.
When a vacancy is pending, you also view it from the Pending tab in the ATS, however approvals can only be actioned from the mobile app.
Rejected vacancies will fall under the 'Rejected' tab, where amendments can be made before sending for another approval request, or deleted.
Set-Up
There are just two things to update in this workflow - and they’re both right at the top of the designer. This is where you define who has access to approve vacancies.
Firstly, you need to grab the ID of each approver, you can find this by going into their profile on SenseHR, and copying the ID at the end of the URL:
Then, select the two activities highlighted in the screenshot below, and add the IDs to the values :
For one approver:

Once you have configured this new workflow, before deploying it you must first undeploy the default 'ATS - Auto Approve Vacancies' workflow.
